March Fashion Forecast

Spring is approaching, and though we are still in a cross between the remnants of winter and the warmth of summer, fashion is ready to transition into a more vibrant, layered season. Think lighter fabrics like linen and cotton making their way into our wardrobes, paired with cozy, transitional pieces like oversized blazers or knit cardigans. Soft pastels and earthy tones will be everywhere, offering a fresh breath of air after the heaviness of winter. This month, expect to see the return of bold prints, like florals and geometric patterns, layered over simple silhouettes. It’s all about creating a balance between cozy and chic as we begin to ease into spring’s ever-changing temperatures.

Accessorizing the Accessories

Starting off hot with tote bags. Tote bags have been around for a while now, and honestly, they’re not going anywhere. Thanks to bag enthusiasts like Jacob Elordi and Peggy Ghou, oversized, structured, slouchy, or sleek, totes have officially graduated from errand-day essentials to full-on statement pieces. The only difference between this year and last? 2025 is being dressed up with personality. Welcome charms, keychains, like the well-known Coach mini charms. This trend is also making its' way onto shoes via funky laces and creative add-ons. Think sneaker charms, lace swaps, and pops of color that give every outfit a little more you.

Match, Game, Set - The Uniform

On the outfit front, coordinated sets continue to reign. This month, the standout pairing is denim on denim...but with a twist. We’re seeing denim jeans styled with matching button-ups for a fresh take on classic western, done in everything from deep indigo to light washes with frayed edges, contrast stitching, and unexpected silhouettes. This trend emerged last year and is continuing to grow as we expect this year's spring and summer outfits to be full of matching tops and skirts as well as matching shorts.

Micro Shorts are the New Mini Skirt

Micro shorts are stepping into the spotlight. This season, hemlines are getting even higher, and fashion is embracing the bold, leggy silhouette of ultra-short shorts. From tailored styles paired with blazers to sporty versions worn with oversized tees, micro shorts are proving just as versatile as their mini counterparts. Whether styled with sleek boots, kitten heels, or chunky sneakers, they bring a playful, confident energy to any look. It’s a trend that says less fabric, more attitude, and fashion is here for it.

Feature Brands of the Month

And if you're wondering which brands are leading the charge, look no further than fivefourfive and GANNI. The former is fast becoming a go-to for elevated casual wear with an editorial edge, think experimental tailoring, unisex fits, and tactile fabrics that make basics feel anything but basic. Meanwhile, GANNI continues to win hearts with its Copenhagen-cool energy, offering trend-forward pieces with a sustainability-driven ethos. Their sets, bags, and quirky accessories are all over street style right now and it’s not slowing down.
